Internationalization Committee (CINT)

Roles and Composition
The Committee for the internationalization of the study programme operates along two main lines:

• Promoting among Italian and international students a type of education that has become a shared asset of the scientific and industrial community in the field of nanotechnology at the global, European, and non-European levels.
• Managing the selection of students holding a Bachelor's degree from foreign universities, ensuring high quality standards among admitted candidates.

Regarding the first line of action, the Committee operates within the Erasmus+ and Erasmus Mundus programmes, promoting agreements with European and non-European universities to support incoming and outgoing mobility of students and faculty. It also seeks agreements with research centres and companies to enable students to undertake thesis work and internships abroad. Additionally, the Academic Mobility Coordinator (RAM), a member of the Committee, collaborates with other members in drafting Erasmus call announcements for the ICI and I3S Faculties to which the study programme belongs, and manages the recognition of exams and credits earned abroad by students. The Committee also promotes double-degree agreements with prestigious foreign universities in the field of nanotechnology.

Regarding the second line of action, the Committee manages the pre-selection phase of international students by reviewing the academic records of applicants to the MSc in Nanotechnology Engineering. The evaluation of qualifications considers both the grades obtained and the content of the acquired credits, ensuring that candidates meet the educational requirements needed to access the programme and successfully continue their studies, according to the criteria set by the CAD.
