Other learning activities
Art. 10, para. 5, letter d of Ministerial Decree 270/04 stipulates that Courses of Study must include “.. learning activities designed to enable acquisition of further knowledge of languages, IT, computer, and interpersonal skills, or other skills as may be useful for entering the world of work, along with learning activities designed to facilitate the range of work choices, by direct experience of the types of work to which the academic qualification may give access, including, in particular, in-work training and orientation as set out in Employment Ministry Decree no. 142 of 25 March 1998”.
By example, we list some events/courses that take place annually and are valuable for the CFU (credits) -AAF (Other learning activities) recognition request:

CFU Recognition/Validation Procedures
At the end of the completed activities, students must send an email to ingegneria_nanotecnologie.lm53@uniroma1.it attaching the following documents:
Scanned copy of the CFU-AAF recognition form (see attachment below), duly completed, signed, and dated.
The form must include a list of the activities carried out. These activities are independently selected and undertaken by the student.
If the certificates do not explicitly indicate the dates and duration of the activities, the student must provide this information. In the absence of official documentation, a self-certification may be submitted, containing:a. The title of the activities
b. The start and end dates
c. The total durationScanned copy of the original documentation proving the completion of the activities for which recognition is requested. The activities must have a minimum duration of 25 hours to be eligible for recognition.
The CFU recognition request must be submitted within 15 days of the exam session for which the student intends to register on Infostud for the CFU recording.
There are five exam sessions per academic year, typically held in:
- December
- February
- April
- June
- September
If the student does not receive a negative evaluation within 7 days of submitting the documentation, they may register for the recording session.
Requests submitted close to or beyond the deadline will not be evaluated, and the CFU will not be recorded.
The CFU recording for AAF does not require the student's presence at the exam session.
Requests for recognition must be sent exclusively from the student's institutional email address (surname.matricola@studenti.uniroma1.it). Emails sent from personal email addresses will not be considered.
