FIGI

The FIGI project pursues various objectives and is structured into different areas, each representing a defined path designed to support students from their first contact with the academic world to their entry into the professional environment:

  • Designing a Business-Oriented Educational Offer: aimed at students of the Faculty of Engineering, with the goal of supporting the design and development of training programmes aligned with market demand trends, while introducing interactive teaching methodologies.

  • Promoting and Organizing Meetings with Companies: targeted at students and graduates of the Faculty. The aim is to enhance young people's understanding of companies, fostering dialogue and engagement through innovative tools.

  • Facilitating the Integration of Recent Graduates into the Job Market: supporting students in choosing an academic path consistent with their ambitions and expectations, and in line with market demand trends.

The FIGI project makes a significant contribution to aligning the educational offer of the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering at Sapienza with the needs of the labor market.
Within the framework of the project, educational activities (link) are carried out as part of the curricula of individual Degree Programmes (co-supervised courses, seminars, technical visits, internships, Bachelor's and Master's theses). Some training activities (link to events) are open to all students of the Faculty, with the aim of improving their understanding of the world of work and facilitating a conscious entry into company settings characterized by different organizational cultures, practices, and sectors.

Among the activities of the FIGI Project are those provided for in Article 11 of Ministerial Decree 270/04 concerning consultations with organizations representing the production, service, and professional sectors.
