PROCEDURES VALID ONLY FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
In order to enrol in the Master of Science in Nanotechnology Engineering, international students (EU/non EU) must complete a pre-selection application.
A pre-selection application is an online application allowing international students to be assessed well before the official Call for Applications is published. This application is particularly important for those applying for a study visa to enter Italy. Most programmes will ask pre-selection applicants to provide:
- Passport
- High School and University Diploma
- Transcript of Records
- Language Certificate
- Reference Letters
- Additional supporting documents
Here are the main steps international students have to follow to apply in the Master of science in Nanotechnology Engineering:

- Create an account on Infostud, Sapienza's student services portal here -> https://www.studenti.uniroma1.it/phoenixreg/#/
- Follow the instructions contained in our programme's "Call for Admissions" available at corsidilaurea.uniroma1.it ("Apply" section) and on the Office for Students with International Qualifications page
- Apply for a study visa on WWW.UNIVERSITALY.IT (mandatory for NON-EU STUDENTS). [the 2025 Universitaly deadline will be communicated at a later stage]
APPLICATION FEE
All pre-selection candidates will need to pay a 30 euro application fee for each submitted application (with a maximum of 2 applications per candaidate per intake). Further information on the payment procedures will be available soon.
